MODELLA 20 den, shapes tummy, flattens the abdomen (Extra Large, beige) As far as shapewear goes, I've only used pantyhose with light support. This was a whole new thing for me. These look like pantyhose, but they are made "stronger" in a good way. I felt like I was held together. None of my jiggly parts jiggled, and that was the goal. I did have to work a little bit to get them on and I feared I was going to put my fingernail through them when I tugged, but they held up to that. I will not say I abused them, but they do have to be tugged on. I have visions of my mother yanking on a girdle and thank heaven above, I don't have to wear one of those! That being said, this is like a girdle for the whole lower half of my body. I felt held together in a very good way. My legs were not tired after a whole day of wearing the hose. I'm a fan. I can wear these under things that I don't want lumps and bumps to show and know that my figure will not betray me. I can honestly recommend these as a aid to helping me with self-esteem
